ABOUT
Meet the Teachers
FOUNDER, YOGA TEACHER
Lauren Dudley
Welcome, I'm Lauren — yoga teacher, mother, nature lover, advocate for holistic wellbeing through the lens of Ayurveda and the heart behind The Botanical Yogi.
With training and experience in teaching Vinyasa, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, and Ayurveda, my teaching style is deeply rooted in the Divine Feminine energy (Shakti prana) that resides in each and every one of us - inviting creativity and fluidity, and an opportunity to nurture, nourish, rest and restore.

Drawing from the ancient teachings of yoga, I share more than just the physical postures (asanas). My gentle flow yoga classes combine mindful movement, meditation and breathing techniques to gently improve strength, flexibility and balance, whilst calming the nervous system and promoting deep relaxation in a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment.

Beyond my weekly classes, I am deeply passionate about sharing Ayurvedic wisdom and creating spaces for connection. Through seasonal yoga workshops and retreats, I strive to support individuals in understanding the energetic qualities of each season and the different lifestyle and self-care practices they can adopt to better support themselves in aligning with the rhythms of nature and maintaining a greater sense of balance throughout the year. I also enjoy facilitating heartfelt experiences through sacred ceremonial circles that celebrate and honour life’s transitions such as becoming a mother, getting married or a milestone birthday.

MEDITATION TEACHER
Wendy Widdicombe
Wendy is a dedicated meditation teacher who guides calm, supportive sessions at Wirreanda Aged Care for both Independent Living and Nursing Home residents. She also facilitates weekly meditation gatherings within her community.
With a grounded and compassionate approach, Wendy believes deeply in the power of a “precious pause”, a simple yet transformative moment of stillness that restores balance, presence and inner peace in everyday life.
Her meditation journey began many years ago through yoga, where she first experienced the profound clarity and calm that meditation brings. That early connection inspired her to share the practice with others.
With a background in business management and sales, including running an electrical contracting business with her husband for over 20 years and working 15 years in her family’s skincare company, Wendy brings resilience, life experience and strong communication skills to her teaching.
A mother of three and proud grandmother, Wendy values connection, family and the simple moments that make the heart sing. She creates inclusive, thoughtfully crafted meditation experiences where every participant feels supported, uplifted and at ease.
